Shastri is an international spiritual organization based in Malaysia founded by Dr. Baskaran G. Acharya (known as Shastri). He studied Vedas and Agamas from 11 gurus and served as priest in temples during his younger days. He has guided thousands of people through his knowledge in science of pujas, astrology, vaastu, numerology and etc. 

Shastri has a balanced academic background where he has received his B.Sc., MSc., and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from a leading university in Malaysia. He is very passionate in research and his interest is on enzyme biochemistry and evidence-based complementary medicine. He explores plant sources (ancient traditional medicine) and tests them through scientific experimental research while documenting their biological mechanism of action. He has authored scientific articles and book chapters published in good impact journals.
